Here's a link of what a story artist does. Read through it and compare your present skills to what this person -a Pixar story artist-sees as what it takes to be a story artist. I particularly agree with "Story Artists do everyone’s job before they do it." That's why it is rarely a recent graduate's first position. HERE.
